(Hmm, no pictures, today - too busy blogging and doing the sports bar scene.) As mentioned above, I woke up from my nap at 6:30am, and continued blogging until Walt woke up and came down. He prepped a toasted bagel and glass of milk for me, and then went out on a local historic building walking tour, while I continued to write blog entries until a bit past noon (so much for an early departure). I then worked on prepping photos for the blog, and spent the rest of the afternoon uploading the lot to the blogsite, inserting them into each blog entry; this took most of the afternoon (so much for any departure at all). Walt got back from his tour early in the afternoon, and we chatted a bit about it for a while (one of the houses had a sculpture in it that was used in the Tom Hanks film, Cast Away – a large metal and ceramic pair of wings standing vertically from a stainless steel sphere). I finished processing and uploading the photos to the blog, and we went to his son’s sports bar, Third Base, again for dinner. It was a very busy night there that evening (as in – it was *packed*, inside and out), as there was an HBO title fight event scheduled: Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton for the IBO and Ring Magazine World Light Welterweight Title, AND the Celtics and the Bulls in a playoff game. So, it was all very exciting, with people yelling and cheering and booing at the ends of each event. Boy, that Manny’s left hook could knock a mounted bronze statue over! I wanted to treat Walt for dinner, but he had an “investor’s card” for the place (it being his son’s, and he helped fund it), so he gets whatever he wants there for free. So, at Walt’s suggestion (the action, not the amount), I tipped the waitress $20, even if she did drop a little cup of tartar sauce on the ground, splashing my leg ;-)

So, I spent one more night over at Walt’s (I hope he didn’t mind – I spent four nights there!)
