Another shorty: July 1, 2009
Hi all: Sorry! I'm still in good shape and am now in Roanoke, VA, still on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Found free wi-fi at Taco Bell, so did some more blog writeups, but ran out of time (almost 7:40pm!) and have to get outta town to find camping before it gets dark. Boy, are there going to be a big glut of new blogs to read when I finally get the backlogs posted! ;-Don

If you are traveling Northward along the mountains from Roanoke, stop in at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel in Staunton, Virginia on the way to see the Morgan sports cars having their national meet, July 3-6. You will see some Morgan three wheelers which are what a tadpole trike reminded me of the first time I saw one--even have the power in the same place, ahead of the front wheels. I'd be there with my Morgan, but I am recovering from a bicycling accident that renders me unable to shift gears for a while. www.morgandc.com. And if you get close to the Washington, DC area, I'd be pleased to meet you.
Hi greatpumpkin: Sorry, I missed the Morgan meet I'm in Washington DC as of today (Monday, July 6), and at my wonderful Warmshowers hosts, Steve and Karen.
